JURY CLEARS DIDDY OF RICO AND SEX TRAFFICKING, CONVICTS ON PROSTITUTION CHARGES AFTER WEAK FEDERAL CASE

FAT JOE HITS BACK AT $20 MILLION LAWSUIT.

Rapper Fat Joe (Joseph “Joe Crack” Cartagena) has publicly responded after former hypeman Terrance “T.A.” Dixon filed a staggering $20 million lawsuit last week. Dixon’s 157‑page federal complaint alleges a range of disturbing claims, including labor exploitation, financial fraud, sexual manipulation, psychological coercion, and involvement in sex with minors which allegedly spanned 16 years in the rapper’s professional circle.
The lawsuit asserts Dixon served not only as a hype man but also an uncredited songwriter and background vocalist, claiming he was owed unpaid royalties and denied rightful credits on hits like “Congratulations” and “Ice Cream.” More shockingly, Dixon alleges that he was subjected to over 4,000 coerced sex acts under threats of abandonment and that Fat Joe engaged in sexual relations with minors aged 15 and 16,
including paying for surgeries and flying a teen across state lines.
Fat Joe has vehemently denied every allegation. Issued through his attorney, Joe Tacopina, the response describes the lawsuit as a retaliatory and extortionate plot orchestrated by Dixon and his attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, who previously faced criticism for similar tactics. Tacopina’s statement brands the lawsuit “a blatant act of retaliation”, asserting the claims are “complete fabrications… lies intended to damage his reputation and force a settlement through public pressure.”
In a bold Instagram message echoed by multiple entertainment outlets, Fat Joe denounced the lawsuit as extortion, calling Dixon a “coward ex-hype man” and Blackburn a “crooked attorney.” He emphasized: “I’ve never let anyone on the streets extort me … I’m from the Bronx!” and vowed to “finish you in court,” condemning lawyers who weaponize their profession “to destroy families with no evidence.” He reassured fans, “I will not break and I will NEVER back down.”
Further complicating matters, Blackburn was arrested on June 25 after allegedly injuring a process server with his vehicle, an incident Fat Joe’s team highlighted as symptomatic of the legal aggression behind the lawsuit. Fat Joe’s camp asserts they are fully prepared to defend his name in court.

Simon Guobadia, the Nigerian-American entrepreneur and ex-husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams, recently told Page Six that he “absolutely” regrets marrying the reality TV personality, asserting he “was targeted for financial reasons” from day one. He shared that their whirlwind romance, engaging within 30 days and marrying in November 2022, “felt like a coup,” leaving him “totally blindsided” when Williams filed for divorce in February 2024. According to Guobadia, she never voiced concerns or issues before abruptly initiating the split.

DR. UMAR BREAKS HIS SILENCE ON THE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST TYLER PERRY IN A RECENT INTERVIEW.

Dr. Umar Johnson has finally spoken out regarding the swirling misconduct allegations against media mogul Tyler Perry. In a recent appearance on The Art of Dialogue, the outspoken psychologist and activist didn’t mince words, defending Perry’s legacy while calling out what he views as a dangerous trend of tearing down influential Black men without sufficient evidence.
“Let me be clear,” Dr. Umar began, “Tyler Perry has never claimed to be perfect, but to suggest he is the leader of some secret culture of abuse with no solid proof? That’s dangerous and irresponsible.” His comments come in the wake of a $260 million lawsuit filed against Perry, alleging harassment and misconduct, claims that have sparked widespread media speculation and online debates.
Dr. Umar questioned the timing of the allegations, suggesting ulterior motives may be at play. “This man has built one of the most powerful Black-owned studios in America. He’s changing the narrative for Black storytelling. And now, just as his influence reaches new heights, these accusations surface?” he asked, his tone skeptical. “That’s not coincidence. That’s coordination.”
He went on to stress the importance of separating proven fact from rumor. “We are not saying don’t investigate,” he clarified. “We are saying don’t convict a man in the court of public opinion without a shred of verified evidence.”
In defending Perry, Dr. Umar also pointed to his decades-long record of service, jobs creation, and philanthropic work. “We’re talking about a man who has employed thousands, given millions, and created platforms where none existed. Are we to believe that a 20-year legacy of community uplift means nothing the moment an allegation appears?”
His message wasn’t just about defending Perry, it was about urging the Black community to think critically. “We can’t let cancel culture replace common sense. If our icons fall, let it be because of facts—not because of fear, headlines, or gossip.”

BEYONCÉ HALTS HOUSTON SHOW AFTER STAGE PROP MALFUNCTION: “STOP, STOP, STOP!”

Beyoncé’s Houston homecoming hit an unexpected snag Saturday night when a dramatic mid-air moment turned tense. Near the end of her Cowboy Carter stadium show, the superstar was performing aboard a red Cadillac suspended by cables — a striking visual centerpiece of the tour. But as the vehicle began to tilt dangerously mid- performance, Beyoncé was forced to intervene.
“Stop! Stop, stop, stop stop,” she called out, halting her emotional ballad 16 Carriages as gasps rippled through the audience. Holding onto a flag pole for support, Beyoncé remained composed, even smiling and waving as she was carefully lowered to the stage floor.
The scene, caught on fan videos that quickly went viral, was both nerve-wracking and oddly iconic. The singer, 43, was visibly calm — but clearly clinging on tight. Applause broke out once she reached the ground safely.
“If ever I fall, I know y’all will catch me,” she reassured fans later, earning cheers from the crowd in her hometown of Houston, Texas.
The moment instantly triggered a flurry of reactions online, with many fans reviving her legendary on-stage quip from a 2010 lighting mishap: “Somebody’s getting fired.” The phrase quickly trended across social media as footage of the Cadillac’s slow, awkward tilt spread.
According to a statement from Beyoncé’s company, Parkwood Entertainment, a “technical mishap” was to blame. “She was quickly lowered and no one was injured. The show continued without incident,” the statement said.
This isn’t the first time Queen Bey has faced tech trouble on stage. Earlier in the Cowboy Carter tour, a robot bartender tasked with pouring her a drink fumbled its job,
spilling whisky mid-performance. And back in 2018 during her On The Run II tour with Jay-Z, a broken platform forced Beyoncé to climb down a ladder in heels and a sequined leotard.
Despite the brief disruption, the Houston show — the 23 rd stop on her 32-date Cowboy Carter tour — was another triumph. Packed with high energy choreography, bold visuals, and personal touches (including appearances from daughters Blue Ivy, 13, and Rumi, 8), the three-hour spectacle continues to wow audiences.
The tour has already broken attendance records at major venues like Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London and Stade De France in Paris — both records previously held by Beyoncé herself. The Cowboy Carter tour wraps in Las Vegas next month.
