However, sources close to Bieber told TMZ there was no physical contact, describing the incident as a “heated exchange” that began when Usher approached Bieber with “energy and anger.”

The exact cause of the disagreement remains unclear, though insiders say the situation did not last long. Representatives for Usher have not publicly commented on the reports. Sources connected to Bieber also suggested the singer has been distancing himself from figures associated with his early career, with one claiming he “has always been rude to Usher.”

The incident unfolded during one of the most exclusive events of Oscars weekend, attended by a host of A-list celebrities including Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, Michael B. Usher and Bieber share a long-standing history in the music industry, with Usher playing a key role in mentoring Bieber during the early stages of his career alongside music manager Scooter Braun. The pair were last seen together publicly in 2022.

Rapper Afroman has been cleared of defamation and privacy invasion claims in a case brought by sheriff’s deputies over his viral “Lemon Pound Cake” music videos.

A jury in Ohio ruled that the artist, whose real name is Joseph Foreman, did not defame seven deputies from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office after he released songs and videos mocking a 2022 raid on his home.

During the trial, Afroman argued that his content was protected under free speech, describing the lyrics as exaggerated entertainment rather than factual claims.

“After they run around my house with guns and kick down my door… I have the right to use my freedom of speech and turn my bad times into a good time,” he told the court.

The case stemmed from an August 2022 incident in which deputies executed a search warrant at his home in connection with alleged drug trafficking and kidnapping. No charges were filed after the search.

Afroman later posted footage of the raid online and turned it into multiple music videos, including the track Lemon Pound Cake, which gained millions of views.

The videos not only criticised the raid but also included exaggerated and offensive portrayals of the officers, prompting the deputies to sue, claiming reputational damage and emotional distress.

However, Afroman’s legal team maintained that the content was clearly satirical and part of artistic expression, comparing it to other controversial works in music culture.

The ruling marks a significant victory for the rapper and reinforces legal protections around satire, parody, and free speech in artistic works.

TV host Whoopi Goldberg has shared her stance on relationships and dating at her age.

Speaking during a recent episode of The View, the 70-year-old said she is single and not interested in a committed relationship.

“I am single. I bar hop, I go hang,” she said. “I do hit and runs when I need it… but I am not married to anybody. I don’t have responsibilities.”

The EGOT-winning entertainer explained that after three previous marriages, she has chosen a different path. She was previously married to Alvin Martin, David Claessen, and Lyle Trachtenberg.

According to her, she is more comfortable living on her own and has no plans to share her space with a partner. “I’m much happier on my own. I can spend as much time with somebody as I want, but I’m not looking to be with somebody forever or live with someone,” she said in an earlier interview.
