Tennis legend Serena Williams has unveiled a striking new appearance, trading her familiar warm blonde curls for an icy silver hairstyle that stole attention at the Airbnb.org Gala on October 28.
The former world number one arrived at the event looking glamorous in a sparkling, figure hugging gown by designer Clio Peppiatt. The fully beaded outfit featured a leopard print design, complemented by a bold red lipstick and an eye catching diamond necklace.
Her icy blonde hair was styled into elegant Old Hollywood waves, giving the sporting icon a sophisticated appearance reminiscent of the glamour associated with classic Hollywood stars.
The transformation represents another memorable fashion moment for Williams, whose influence has extended well beyond the tennis court. Throughout her career, she has become recognised not only for her sporting achievements but also for her confidence, individuality and evolving personal style.
Williams is one of the most successful players in tennis history. At the US Open, she secured six singles titles, two women's doubles championships alongside her sister Venus Williams and one mixed doubles title with Max Mirnyi.

Speaking to E! News in August, she described watching the tournament from the stands as a different experience, explaining that she could now enjoy the atmosphere, spend time in hospitality suites and watch matches without the pressure of competing.

Williams briefly returned to the sport in June for Wimbledon after four years away from competitive tennis. However, her comeback was interrupted by a knee injury sustained during the tournament.
Away from the court, the 45 year old is concentrating on family life and other personal priorities. She shares two daughters, Olympia and Adira, with husband Alexis Ohanian.
She has also spoken publicly about her weight loss journey, revealing that she lost more than 30 pounds with the assistance of a GLP-1 medication. In a 2025 interview with Today, Williams explained that the change had improved her energy levels and mental well being.
Her latest appearance demonstrates how comfortably she continues to move between sport, fashion and entertainment. Whether stepping onto a tennis court or attending a glamorous industry event, Williams remains a recognisable figure whose personal style attracts attention.
