Cam Newton keeps improving his squad.
Following the recent birth of a son by his girlfriend Jasmin Brown, whom he has been dating since 2022, the former NFL quarterback announced that he is now a father to nine children.
Oh, he's already here, Cam said to host Tamron Hall about his ninth child in a clip from the upcoming October 16 episode of The Tamron Hall Show that Us Weekly was able to obtain.
In a heartfelt Mother's Day post earlier this year, Jasmin—who already has a 19- month-old daughter with the former football star—announced her pregnancy.
In May, the Zatima actress posted on Instagram, Feeling ALL the love, kicks, and elbows. To our expanding tribe, cheers.
Cam is the father of Chosen, 9; Camidas, 7; and Cashmere, 6, in addition to his children with Jasmin. He also has a daughter, Sovereign-Dior, 8, from his previous relationship with Kia Proctor, and her daughter, Shakira, 18.
In an April 2024 episode of Club Shay Shay, the Heisman Trophy winner declared, I am proud to say that I have eight children—six of them are biologically through me.I don't think stepchildren exist. Everyone gets what my biological children get. I don't have any preferences. King and Queen are being raised by me.
In the meantime, the 36-year-old and his ex-girlfriend LaReina Shaw have a 6- year-old son named Caesar and a 19-year-old son named Jaden from a previous relationship.
Prior to the birth of his ninth child, Cam expressed his excitement about expanding his family and mentioned that he didn’t know when he would feel as though his family was complete.
“Did I tell you I want more?” he told People in February. “But jokingly, and not jokingly, they really give me my purpose, and there are so many different things that I look at to say, They're my refuge. They’re my peace. They’re my encouragement.” He added, There are times when I’m here and they’re still at home. Those types of things affect me, but it also gives me more reason to say, I'm doing this because of that situation.”
