Halle Berry is embracing her 60th birthday, sharing stunning holiday snaps as she prepares to turn the milestone age on Friday.
The actress wowed in a bikini layered under a plunging black crochet dress as she soaked up the sun on vacation.
Sharing the photos with her 9.3m Instagram followers on Wednesday, Halle declared: '60 here I come….'
Fans were full of compliments in the comments with one writing: 'You make 60 look absolutely gorgeous'.
'Wow one of the best looking 60 yr olds I've ever seen.' added another.
Halle has been vocal in recent years about ageing as an older woman in Hollywood.
In a February interview with The Cut she explained how her recent role in crime thriller film Crime 101 'rang so true for me'.
In the 2026 movie she plays a middle-aged insurance broker who takes advantage of her beauty when it comes to closing deals with wealthy clients.
'You get to this age where you feel like you're being marginalized, devalued. You feel it at work. You feel it from society,' she said when asked about the role.
'But I have adamantly decided I am not going to allow myself to be erased. That's why I'm on my menopause mission. I'm going to be louder than I have ever been.'
Halle has been using her platform in recent years to advocate for women's health, which she says 'feels like a formidable cause for my second act.'
In February 2025 she pivoted her wellness platform Respin to focus specifically on menopause care.
She explained last year during a roundtable interview that she has been told that 'Being an actor, you don't want to start talking about menopause.'
'And I'm like, "But my age is printed before my name every time I read. So it's not like I can hide it and why should I?"'
