Simone Biles has clapped back at critics questioning why she was invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3.

The Olympic gymnast, 29, attended the lavish ceremony with her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens, and shared photos from the night on Instagram. "The perfect love story, followed by the perfect nighTT," she captioned the post.

When one follower asked, "When has Simone Biles and Taylor Swift even spoken to each other?" Biles replied firmly: "Remember this, I only show y'all what I want y'all to know."

Biles wore a burgundy haute couture gown by Đỗ Long, paired with jewelry from Maison Spoiled High Jewelry, while Owens matched her look in a velvet tuxedo jacket. "What a night. So grateful to be able to witness such a beautiful ceremony with so many amazing people," she added in another post.

Though some fans seemed surprised by her presence, Biles and Swift have a history of mutual support. Swift publicly cheered on Team USA during the 2016 Olympics, and Biles later performed to Swift's "...Ready for It?" at the 2024 Olympic trials.

When Biles withdrew from events at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, Swift narrated a tribute video for NBC, praising her resilience: "She's perfectly human. And that's what makes it so easy to call her a hero." Biles responded on X, "I'm crying, how special. I love you." Swift replied, "I cried watching YOU."

Swift and Kelce's wedding drew more than 1,000 guests, including celebrities like Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, and Ed Sheeran. For Biles, the night was both a celebration of love and a reminder that she chooses what parts of her life to share publicly.
