She and Holland are not trying to “hide from the world,” but rather to “preserve things for ourselves so that we can maintain that joy just within ourselves and our loved ones and our family.”
Zendaya talked about how tricky it can be to balance public interest with her personal life. She makes a point of keeping certain things private and finding a middle ground between sharing and protecting special moments.
At the Los Angeles premiere of _The Drama_ on March 17, she highlighted the importance of enjoying life while keeping some parts of it just for yourself, something she said everyone has to figure out in their own way.

Zendaya and Holland, who went public with their romance in 2021, first sparked marriage rumors in February when Zendaya was seen wearing a gold band on her finger instead of her engagement ring.
Law Roach later confirmed the couple had “already” tied the knot, though Zendaya has declined to clarify the matter publicly. Despite speculation, the couple continues to carefully guard their private life while remaining in the public eye.
