50 Cent is sharing his unfiltered thoughts on the rumors swirling around Cardi B and Stefon Diggs.
The rapper, born Curtis James Jackson III, weighed in on speculation about trouble in the couple’s relationship with a pointed Instagram post on Monday, Feb. 9. Alongside an edited image featuring Cardi B and the NFL star, 50 Cent offered his blunt take on what Diggs might be dealing with after Super Bowl weekend.
“Can you imagine waking up this morning and you done lost this b!tch and the Super Bowl?” he wrote in the caption. He followed it up by joking that he would tell everyone to leave him alone, grab a drink, and go back to sleep, while tagging his cognac brand, Branson Cognac.
The post quickly gained traction as fans continued to speculate about a possible split between Cardi B and Diggs. The rumors began earlier that day when observant followers noticed that the two no longer follow each other on Instagram. Their mutual unfollow came shortly after Diggs, a
wide receiver for the New England Patriots, suffered a loss against the Seattle Seahawks in the 2026 Super Bowl.
Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, was present at the game on Sunday, Feb. 8, making a cameo during Bad Bunny’s halftime show. She appeared to exit the stadium shortly after, sharing an Instagram Stories video of herself singing in a car while the game was still in progress.
Later that evening, the Grammy winning rapper was spotted attending a Raising Cane’s party at the Proper Hotel. Her brief and seemingly distant response to Diggs earlier in the weekend also raised eyebrows. When asked by ESPN at the Fanatics Super Bowl Party if she had a message for him before the game, she replied with a flat “Good luck” before walking away.
Just days earlier, Diggs had sparked conversation of his own when he was asked at a media event whether he planned to propose to Cardi B. He
answered vaguely, saying it might be on the agenda but that he needed to take care of himself first.
The couple first confirmed their relationship publicly in 2025 and welcomed a baby boy last November. Recent breakup speculation also comes
amid controversy surrounding Diggs, who has denied allegations made against him earlier this year.
As for 50 Cent, the rapper has been busy beyond social media commentary. He recently told Rolling Stone that while fans are eager for new music from him, he believes timing and simplicity matter as hip hop continues to evolve.
