Heaven has welcomed a new angel.

Criscilla Anderson, a former hip-hop dancer who co-starred in Netflix's 2020 reality show Country Ever After with her ex, country musician Coffey Anderson, died of colon cancer, according to a posthumous notification. She was 45.

If you're reading this, I've finally slipped into the arms of Jesus—peacefully and surrounded by love, Criscilla wrote on Instagram on December 2, as shared by her friend Lindsey Villatoro. Please do not remain in the darkness of this moment.I fought hard and loved deeply.

She clarified,I am not gone. I'm home.

Criscilla, a former choreographer for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, also addressed her and Coffey's children, Ethan, 14, Emmarie, 12, and Everleigh, 9, as well as stepdaughter Savannah, 17, from Coffey's previous relationship, as my whole heart.

Ethan, you made me a mother. I'm still beside you, cheering you on, she added. Savannah, my bonus girl, you were the gift God knew I needed. Emmarie, my Jesus-loving dancer, keep dancing through all seasons. Everleigh, my brilliant light, seek your ambitions openly and fearlessly.

Criscilla said, My babies... I am watching out for you. When something feels warm, familiar, or too beautiful to be a coincidence, that's me. I am still
mothering you. I am still yours.

Criscilla was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2018 but was proclaimed in remission in 2021 after receiving therapy. The cancer reappeared in late 2022, after she warned people that the chances of recurrence were very, very high.

Last month, her friend Lindsey disclosed that Criscilla's colon cancer had metastasized to her brain, which doctors found after a stroke. Lindsey stated at the time that Criscilla was planned to move forward with radiation, possibly chemo  and was actively exploring trials that specialize in colon cancer research.

Following her death, Coffey—who married Criscilla in 2009 and filed for divorce in 2022—honored her with a heartfelt social media tribute.

“Criscilla defined strength and fighter like no other person on the planet,” he wrote on Instagram. “Heaven gained a star today.

” Coffey added, We already miss you. Our hearts were crushed. Our thoughts are muddled. Our lives will never be the same. The house is quieter since you're not there.

The Bud Light Blue  singer acknowledged how they co-parented their children, saying, The babies are as resilient and strong as ever. We did well with them.

The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, who invited Criscilla back as a judge for their 2024 tryouts, also expressed their sympathies.

In loving memory of our dear friend, Criscilla Crossland, the squad posted on Instagram on December 3. Her artistry, passion, and strength have inspired many in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders family. The enthusiasm, talent, and love she shared will not be forgotten.
