R&B sensation Summer Walker has continued her chart dominance with her third studio album, Finally Over It, securing the largest debut for an R&B album by a woman in 2025. The highly anticipated album, released on Friday, November 14, 2025, debuted at Number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart after earning 77,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, according to Luminate.

The impressive debut marks Walker’s fourth time charting a project in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, following her debut Over It (2019) at No. 2 and her sophomore album Still Over It (2021), which secured her first No. 1 spot. Finally Over It is the final installment of the artist’s thematic trilogy, which explores the complexities of relationships, heartbreak and moving on.

The overwhelming success of the project was largely driven by streaming equivalent units (SEA), which accounted for approximately 69,000 units, translating to nearly 92 million on-demand streams. This massive streaming total highlights Walker’s profound connection with her fanbase and confirms her status as a streaming powerhouse within the contemporary R&B landscape.

The album’s success extends beyond the overall chart, as Finally Over It also debuted at Number 3 on Billboard’s Top Streaming Albums chart and secured the Number 1 position on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The 18-track project features a star-studded lineup of collaborators, including Chris Brown, Anderson .Paak, Bryson Tiller and Mariah the Scientist, contributing to its wide appeal.

Furthermore, seven songs from the album successfully debuted on the highly competitive Billboard Hot 100 chart, including “Robbed You” with Mariah the Scientist and “Baby” featuring Chris Brown. This influx of new entries pushes Walker’s career total to 45 Hot 100 hits, demonstrating her consistent commercial power. The record-breaking debut confirms Summer Walker’s influential position, not only as a leading voice in R&B but also as one of the most commercially successful female artists in modern music.
