In joyous news, actors Ryan Destiny and Keith Powers have officially announced their engagement. The couple shared the announcement on October 5, 2025, via a joint Instagram post featuring a series of intimate, stylized photos in which Destiny flashes her new diamond ring and the two embrace amid cozy, romantic settings.
Keith Powers captioned the post, “engaged to the love of my life,” and comments flooded in from fans, friends, and celebrities offering congratulations. Their public declaration confirms that after a period apart, the two have committed to a new chapter together.
Following Ryan Destiny and Keith Powers’ engagement announcement, several well- known celebrities flooded their comments with love and congratulations. Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, called the pair “a stunning couple with beautiful souls,” while Chloe Bailey wrote, “This is so beautiful — you both deserve forever love.” Lori Harvey added, “So happy for you guys! Love always wins,” and Keke Palmer commented, “Aww my heart!! Congrats to you both, this is pure joy.” Michael B. Jordan also shared his support, writing, “Love to see it. Congrats, y’all — power couple energy!”
The couple first met in 2015 and began dating a few years later. They became more publicly known as a pair around 2018. In 2022, they announced a split after about four years together. However, in late 2024 and into 2025, reports emerged that the two had quietly reunited, affirming their bond and commitment to work on their future together.
In interviews following the engagement, Powers revealed that he had been planning the proposal for approximately 18 months. He acknowledged that he delayed the moment at times, but emphasized he never doubted the timing would eventually be right. The couple described the actual proposal as intimate and meaningful.
Destiny spoke about how surreal and emotional the moment felt. While she confessed that she had envisioned moments like this before, she also said that when the moment arrived, she was fully present, caught between the bliss of the experience and the weight of what it meant.
Now engaged, the couple says they intend to approach wedding planning and their life together with intention, communication and patience. They want a celebration that reflects their personalities and shared values, while involving close family and friends.
