Stefon Diggs, Cardi B's boyfriend and wide receiver for the New England Patriots, is facing a lawsuit claiming he fathered a baby girl with model Aileen Lopera, known as Lord Gisselle on Instagram. According to court documents obtained by People, Lopera gave birth to her daughter this past April and initially filed legal papers in December 2024 while she was still pregnant, seeking to establish parental rights. In her filing, she requested legal and physical custody of the child while allowing Diggs visitation rights.

Diggs responded to the suit by denying paternity and requesting genetic testing to confirm whether or not he is the child's father. He further stated that if the results prove he is the father, he would seek joint custody and contribute equally to reasonable pregnancy and birth expenses, as well as legal fees. The filings also revealed that Lopera named her daughter Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, using the NFL player's last name. Her attorney told People that Lopera looks forward to the day Diggs acknowledges his daughter and provides for her in Los Angeles. Representatives for Diggs did not immediately comment on the case.

The paternity lawsuit emerged just as Cardi B announced she is pregnant with her fourth child, her first with Diggs. During an interview with Gayle King for CBS Mornings, Cardi confirmed the news, saying she felt strong and powerful balancing her career with the pregnancy. The baby is expected before her tour begins in February. Cardi and Diggs were first linked in October 2024 and went public with their relationship in May 2025 when they were seen together at a Boston Celtics and New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden.

Diggs is already the father of an eight-year-old daughter named Nova, born in 2016. Cardi, meanwhile, shares three children with her estranged husband Offset: daughter Kulture, 7, son Wave, 4, and daughter Blossom, born in September 2024. She revealed she was expecting Blossom shortly after filing for divorce from Offset for the second time, announcing the pregnancy with a maternity photo on Instagram. At the time, she wrote about embracing new beginnings, gratitude for her children, and the strength they give her to persevere through challenges.
