Drake has finally addressed the persistent rumors surrounding his physique, putting an end to speculation that his abs were the result of cosmetic surgery. In his typical humorous fashion, the Canadian rapper denied undergoing abdominal etching, a procedure designed to sculpt the stomach area by removing fat to reveal more pronounced muscles.

Speaking with Bobbi Althoff on her Not This Again podcast, Drake confronted the rumors head-on after a shirtless selfie had sparked online chatter. "No," he replied when asked directly about the alleged surgery. He acknowledged that cosmetic enhancements are common in celebrity culture but maintained that he had not gone under the knife. Adding a comedic twist, he noted that some people even accuse him of getting a Brazilian Butt Lift, jokingly embracing the nickname "BBL Drizzy."

Drake admitted, however, that while his body is authentic, the infamous photo was not entirely untouched. He confessed to tweaking it with Facetune, exaggerating its sharpness and saturation. "I came from the gym, I was sweaty in that pic," he said. "Maybe I heightened the saturation or something on it. I think I hit it too hard. They don't look like that." His candid admission drew both laughter and understanding, as many could relate to the pressure of online appearances.

The rapper has faced whispers about plastic surgery since 2024, when producer Metro Boomin released a diss track titled "BBL Drizzy" during Drake's feud with Kendrick Lamar. The speculation resurfaced when Drake posted another photo of his abs earlier this year. Still, the Grammy winner insists his body comes from effort, not surgery. He even credited his seven-year-old son Adonis for inspiring him to stay active, noting that the boy already has "an eight-pack" and is far more disciplined in the gym than he ever was.

The truth, according to Drake, is that while he may touch up a photo, the hard work behind his physique remains real. The rumors, it seems, will not define him,his music and wit will.
