Fatherhood is the new chapter that the R&B singer is embarking on. He revealed that he and girlfriend Esmeralda Rios are expecting their first child on his 38th birthday."There's an entire universe in there!" On his Instagram Stories, Mario posted a picture of himself putting his hand on Esmeralda's growing baby bump on August 27. "I'm eager."In his Instagram birthday post shortly after, the "Let Me Love You" star also gushed about this new milestone.
On the photo dump, he posted a video of himself massaging his girlfriend's expanding belly along with the caption, "BDAY VIBES #virgoseason." "Grateful to God! WE LOCKED IN.
Despite keeping his romantic life private, Mario has shared a little bit of information about his relationship with Esmeralda on social media. In fact, he shared a video of them kissing at an all-white party in California during their date night in June of last year. Mario added that even though they would rather not draw attention to their relationship, it was crucial that they go to the event together.
When he appeared on The Morning Hustle last November, he clarified, "We don't just go everywhere, but it was one of them ones." "I had to take her." I'm bringing my girl, so I wasn't going to show up over there. I believe that if you respect your partner in a relationship, you should move in a way that shows respect because everything’s connected and exposed.”
Additionally, he complimented Esmeralda, saying that she looked "fucking beautiful" on their night out.
The former Masked Singer added, "She's fire." "I think it's lovely to celebrate love."
Mario has been open about taking his time building his legacy, even though he didn't hint at whether they were interested in having children at the time.

There are many benefits and drawbacks to having children; some of my younger friends have children, and some of my older friends have children. I didn't have a father either. I therefore want to do it correctly when I do it.
