Authorities have released a 911 call with details into a break-in involving Beyoncé's team, where laptops and hard drives containing unreleased music and tour plans were stolen. The incident happened on July 8 in a parking garage on Krog Street in Atlanta. This was just two days before Beyonce's Cowboy Carter tour stop in the city.
The Atlanta Police Department said that Beyoncé's choreographer Christopher Grant and her dancer Diandre Blue had parked their car, a black Jeep Wagoneer, around 8:09 p.m. Upon their return about an hour later, they noticed the back window had been smashed and two suitcases were missing.
The stolen items included laptops, hard drives with unreleased and watermarked Beyoncé tracks, set lists for past and upcoming shows, plans for the Cowboy Carter tour, designer sunglasses, clothing, and Apple AirPods Max headphones.
In the 911 audio obtained by TMZ, the caller, Grant, can be heard telling the dispatcher, "Someone broke into my car. They stole, like my computers and everything, but it has the tracker on it." He added, "It's really, really important information in there. I work with someone who's like of a high status and I really need my computer."
The caller specifies that he was parked in a garage while dining nearby. When asked about his car, he describes it as a black rental Wagoneer on the main level. The dispatcher assures him that officers will be sent to the scene.
It is reported that the security footage captured the incident. The suspect's vehicle is believed to be a 2025 red Hyundai Elantra. Two sets of fingerprints were recovered by the investigators who have since issued an arrest warrant. The suspect's name has however not been released. Police continue tracking the stolen electronics.
Beyoncé performed in Atlanta from July 10 to 14. The Cowboy Carter tour, celebrating her country-inspired album, launched in April and is set to conclude in Las Vegas on July 26.
