Internet personality and rapper Danielle Bregoli, also known as Bhad Bhabie, finds herself embroiled in legal turmoil after American Express filed a lawsuit over a staggering $674,452.40 in unpaid credit card charges. The court papers were officially lodged on July 2, 2025, in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
According to the documents, AmEx alleges that Bregoli breached the terms of her credit agreement by neglecting payments since around December 19, 2024. She was initially granted the credit line on April 21, 2021, with the contractual obligation to repay all charges, fees and accrued interest either in full monthly or via installment plans.
The lawsuit frames this as a clear breach of contract. AmEx is also seeking damages beyond the principal outstanding balance . Both Bregoli’s camp and American Express have remained publicly silent about the case.
The timing of this legal move is notable, coming on the heels of Bhad Bhabie’s bold revelations concerning her OnlyFans earnings. In mid‑2024, she shared a screenshot (widely circulated via media outlets) showing gross earnings of over $71 million and net income surpassing $57 million since joining the platform in April 2021. A breakdown indicated $32 million stemmed from direct messages, with $24 million from subscriptions.
Further flashy bragging followed by early 2025, her earnings claims escalated, with sources like AllHipHop quoting upwards of a $75 million haul, including $1 million reportedly earned in her first six hours on the platform. In a June conversation with Interview Magazine, she described OnlyFans as “a good way to make a lot of money really fast.”
Despite her wealthy image, Bhad Bhabie has strongly denied owing American Express any money. Speaking to The Shade Room, she dismissed the lawsuit outright, stating, “Sh** not true. Where do they get this sh** from” She appears intent on protecting both her reputation and financial narrative.
