Isaiah Evans made sure to stand out on one of the biggest nights of his basketball career, arriving at the first round of the 2026 NBA Draft in New York wearing an eye-catching collection of diamonds reportedly valued at around $4 million.
The 20-year-old former Duke shooting guard attended the June 23 event at Barclays Center dressed in a blue pinstripe suit complemented by custom jewelry created by Jason of Beverly Hills. According to reports, the centerpiece of his look was an elaborate diamond brooch attached to his right lapel.
The accessory was estimated to be worth approximately $3 million and featured a ruby centerpiece surrounded by diamonds. The striking piece immediately drew attention on the draft's red carpet and became one of the evening's most talked-about fashion statements.
Evans did not stop there. He also wore a diamond-encrusted wallet chain reportedly valued at about $1 million. The chain, which was partially visible beneath his jacket, added to the luxury theme of his outfit and further elevated his draft-night appearance.
Speaking about the jewelry in a social media video, Evans offered a brief explanation of the design's value and craftsmanship.
The pieces were created by renowned jeweler Jason Arasheben, who described the accessories as unlike anything previously seen at an NBA Draft. Arasheben noted that the brooch was a particularly unique creation and said the wallet chain contained more than 170 carats of diamonds.
The designer explained that he wanted to create something different from the traditional jewelry often worn by NBA prospects. Rather than relying on oversized pendants or flashy earrings, he and Evans aimed for a more sophisticated and fashion-forward approach.
According to Arasheben, the inspiration came partly from the style and elegance commonly seen at events such as the Met Gala. He said the goal was to create a look that felt regal, distinctive and timeless while still making a strong statement.
Evans told reporters that the outfit was intended to leave a lasting impression and reflected his personality. He also praised his working relationship with Arasheben, saying the collaboration helped bring his vision to life.
Although Evans was not selected during the first round of the draft, analysts expect him to hear his name called during the second round. Regardless of where he lands, his memorable appearance ensured he was among the most talked-about prospects of the night.
