In a move that underscores renewed US commitment to Taiwan, the Trump administration has unveiled an $11 billion arms sale package, its second since Donald Trump's return to the White House in January. The substantial deal, which still awaits US Congress approval, includes high-tech military hardware like advanced rocket launchers, self-propelled howitzers, and an array of missiles. China, which sees self-governed Taiwan as a breakaway province, condemned the move, saying it severely undermines China's sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
