Jayden Reed is officially engaged to longtime girlfriend Aneisha Cox after the Green Bay Packers wide receiver proposed in a romantic setting surrounded by flowers and candlelight.

The couple announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on July 5, sharing a collection of photos from the special moment. Cox, 23, captioned the post, "Forever & after," while Reed, 26, added, "Mine, I love you."

The proposal featured an elaborate display of red roses, candles and a decorative balloon arch. One of the images captured Reed on one knee as Cox reacted with surprise, covering her mouth while accepting the proposal.

Additional photos highlighted the couple's celebration, including a close-up of Cox's engagement ring. The ring features a large oval-shaped center diamond accented by smaller stones along the band. Other images offered an overhead view of the proposal setup and showed the newly engaged couple embracing after the memorable moment.

For the occasion, Cox wore a white satin slip dress with a thigh-high slit, giving the event a bridal-inspired look. Reed opted for an all-black outfit, adding a splash of Green Bay Packers colors with bright green sneakers.

Friends, fans and members of the Packers organization quickly filled the comments section with congratulatory messages. The team's official Instagram account celebrated the announcement, while fellow Packers wide receiver Christian Watson also shared his best wishes for the couple.

The engagement comes shortly after another Packers player, safety Evan Williams, announced his own engagement following a proposal to his girlfriend, Dyanara Herrera, during a vacation in Italy's Lake Como.

Reed and Cox have been together since 2022. They made their relationship public in December of that year when they shared festive photos wearing matching Christmas pajamas, accompanied by a caption celebrating the holiday season together.

A year later, the couple marked their first anniversary by posting a series of photos and videos reflecting on their relationship. At the time, Cox described their romance as different because she had found "the right one" and celebrated how much they had grown together.

Throughout Reed's NFL career, Cox has frequently attended Packers games to support him from the stands. She has often worn custom outfits featuring Reed's name and his jersey number, 11, during game days.

Cox was crowned Miss Wisconsin USA in 2025 and has continued to balance her pageant responsibilities with her entrepreneurial pursuits. In addition to her work in pageantry, she owns and operates the fashion brand Just 1 Designs.

The engagement marks a new chapter for the couple as they prepare for married life while Reed continues his career in the NFL.
