Rihanna shared a touching moment with a fan undergoing cancer treatment after the two met while shopping at a supermarket, offering words of encouragement that quickly resonated online.

The interaction was captured in a video shared by entertainment personality Jason Lee as part of his "Jason Lee Unlocked: Grocery Shopping with Rihanna" series on Monday, July 6.

In the clip, the fan approached the Grammy-winning singer and asked if they could take a photo together. She also revealed that she was living with cancer and admitted she felt self-conscious about her appearance.

"I live with cancer. Can I take a picture with you?" she asked.

Without hesitation, Rihanna warmly agreed and immediately reassured the fan.

"You don't look terrible," the singer responded before posing for the photograph.

The fan then explained that she was not wearing her wig and felt that people usually recognized her only when she had it on. Rihanna embraced her with an arm around her shoulder, and the pair shared a smile for the camera.

Their conversation took an even sweeter turn when Rihanna learned that the fan's name was also Robyn, the singer's birth name, Robyn Rihanna Fenty.

"And your name's Robyn, like mine," Rihanna said excitedly.

The fan thanked the singer before showing her a photo on her phone of herself wearing a wig. She joked that Rihanna would think she looked like "a true Robyn" with her hair styled that way.

Rather than focusing on the wig, Rihanna praised the fan's natural appearance.

"You know what I live for? A good hairline, honey. This is what I like to see," she said while gesturing toward the fan's natural hair.

The singer also encouraged her not to put herself down when meeting others.

"Anytime you meet anybody, don't do that. You're fire just like that," Rihanna told her.

When the fan asked if she could quote those words, Rihanna enthusiastically replied, "Hell yeah! Verbatim."

As they prepared to part ways, Rihanna repeated her message of self-confidence, reminding the fan not to underestimate herself.

"You're fire as is," she said.

The fan responded emotionally, thanking the singer and telling her, "You make me feel good."

The heartfelt exchange comes shortly after Rihanna attended one of partner A$AP Rocky's concerts in Los Angeles with their two-year-old son, Riot Rose. During the performance, Rocky paused to give his son a special shout-out from the stage, telling the crowd, "Daddy loves you, son," as Rihanna watched and filmed the touching family moment from the audience.
