A$AP Rocky has stirred debate after a bold remark during his Don't Be Dumb tour stop in Phoenix.

On June 23, the rapper paused mid-performance to address the crowd, saying: "Thank god y'all didn't know me when I was single, 'cause I would have f**ed the s***t out of you if you was pretty."

The audience cheered, but once clips hit social media, reactions were divided.

Some fans laughed it off as typical Rocky banter, while others felt it was disrespectful to Rihanna, his longtime partner since 2019. The couple share three children together, and Rihanna has been spotted supporting him at earlier shows.

Online, critics accused him of objectifying women and undermining his relationship, with one fan writing, "Disrespectful to Rihanna, disrespectful to women."

Not everyone agreed with the backlash. Supporters argued Rocky was clearly talking about his past, not his present, and that the comment was part of his stage persona. Others pointed out that he specifically referenced being single, suggesting he was acknowledging his current commitment.

Rihanna wasn't at the Phoenix show, but she has shown up for other tour dates, including opening night. The pair remain one of music's most closely watched couples.
