Meghan Markle shared a lighthearted apology after unexpectedly appearingin a TikTok video during a recent event. The moment came during theAlliance for Children’s Rights 34th Annual Champions for Children gathering in Beverly Hills, where the Duchess of Sussex spent the evening celebrating her close friend, Kelly McKee Zajfen.

In an Instagram post on March 20, Meghan reflected on the night, which included presenting Zajfen with the Francis M. Wheat Community Service Award. The post featured a recap video set to “Ladies Room” by Olivia Dean, capturing highlights from the event as well as a spontaneous and humorous moment.

While at the venue, Meghan came across a group of women filming a TikTok video in the bathroom. The footage showed her pausing to watch as one woman danced while another recorded on a phone. Meghan appeared amused, greeting them before sharing a laugh as the impromptu moment unfolded. In her caption, she jokingly apologized for interrupting their video, saying it was too fun not to share.

The evening largely centered on honoring Zajfen, a board member of the Alliance for Children’s Rights and co founder of the Alliance of Moms. Meghan’s post highlighted their close friendship, with clips of the two holding hands, posing for photos, and walking into the ballroom together. On stage, Meghan delivered remarks before presenting the award, while Zajfen watched from the wings.

The video also offered behind the scenes glimpses of the event, including the emotional moment when Zajfen joined Meghan on stage and later embraced her as they exited together. The recognition celebrated Zajfen’s continued work supporting vulnerable children and young mothers within the foster care system.

Speaking about the evening, Zajfen expressed appreciation for Meghan’s presence, describing her as one of her closest friends and a consistent supporter of her work. She noted that Meghan has been involved with the organization for several years and has shown up not only for the cause but also for her family.

Meghan’s appearance at the event reflects her ongoing involvement in charitable initiatives alongside Prince Harry. The couple, who share two children, have supported related causes through their foundation, including events that honor Zajfen’s late son and raise awareness for children in need.
