Cardi B showed her playful but accountable side during a recent stop on her Little Miss Drama Tour after accidentally splashing water on a fan and ruining her hairstyle mid performance.
The 33 year old rapper performed in Houston on Wednesday, March 4, where the unexpected moment happened during her set. In a video posted on Instagram by user @labellepatrice, Cardi can be seen pouring water over herself onstage before tossing the bottle into the crowd. The bottle landed near a fan and soaked her hair and glasses.
The fan later shared on social media that she had just gotten her hair styled the day before the concert. Despite the mishap, she said the interaction with Cardi made the experience worthwhile.
Cardi noticed the video online and quickly responded in the comments to apologize. Addressing the fan directly, she wrote, “Sorry friend. I’m mad at myself cause what if you was going to the club after and I just messed your hair up.” The lighthearted apology showed the Grammy winning artist taking responsibility for the accidental moment.
The incident is just one of several viral moments from Cardi’s tour so far. Earlier in the tour, she made headlines during her Las Vegas performance on Feb. 13 when she accidentally fell backward off a chair while performing the song “Thotiana.” Video clips shared online showed the rapper quickly recovering and continuing her routine without missing a beat. She even joked about the moment during the show, pointing at the chair and saying, “That was the government!”
Later, Cardi reposted the video on X with a humorous caption suggesting the clip was clearly artificial intelligence.
Off stage, Cardi has also been candid with fans about her personal plans. After her opening concert at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California, she was filmed backstage talking with singer Kehlani. In the video, Cardi joked that after finishing the tour she plans to travel to Colombia and focus on removing some of her butt implants.
Despite the occasional mishaps, Cardi has made it clear that she is fully committed to the tour. The rapper welcomed her fourth child with NFL player Stefon Diggs just over three months before hitting the road. Some critics questioned whether she would be ready to perform so soon after giving birth.
Cardi addressed those doubts in a message posted on X on Feb. 23. She said every show so far has been completely sold out and emphasized how seriously she takes performing for her fans. She added that her concerts are meant to feel like both a performance and a party, allowing her and the audience to enjoy the experience together.
