Does Stefon Diggs know more than he is letting on?

The New England Patriots wide receiver found himself in the spotlight during Super Bowl LX Opening Night when a reporter asked him about a
growing rumor involving his girlfriend, Cardi B. Speculation has been swirling that the rapper could make a surprise appearance alongside Bad Bunny during the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday, Feb. 8.

Diggs, 32, was initially asked a lighter question about Bad Bunny, the Puerto Rican Grammy-winning artist set to headline the halftime performance. Instead of offering commentary, Diggs reached for his phone and played one of his favorite tracks from Bad Bunny’s 2025 album
_DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS_. The song, “NUEVAYoL,” filled the microphone as reporters gathered around his podium at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center on Feb. 2.

“Yeah, there’s one song I really like,” Diggs said with a laugh, explaining that he could not remember the title off the top of his head. The impromptu moment drew smiles from the crowd, including media outlets such as PEOPLE, as Diggs briefly turned the press conference into a mini listening session.

While the song played, another reporter jumped in with a more pointed question, asking whether Cardi B, 33, would join Bad Bunny on stage
during halftime. The rumor stems from their 2018 collaboration “I Like It,” which also featured J Balvin and became a global hit.

Diggs dodged the question with humor. “I don’t know, we can call and ask her,” he said, before returning his focus to the music. “But I think this is my favorite part,” he added, continuing to sing along.

Later during Opening Night, Diggs was also asked about his relationship with Cardi B and whether wedding bells might be in their future. One reporter joked that if the Patriots win the Super Bowl and Diggs receives a championship ring, would Cardi be getting a ring of her own.

“It’s on the agenda, maybe, right? Right?” Diggs replied playfully before adding, “I gotta get mine first.”

Diggs and Cardi B have been dating for several months and share a son together, born in November. Cardi announced the pregnancy in September, though the baby’s name has not been publicly revealed. The pair first sparked romance rumors in February 2025 after being spotted together in New York City and Miami. They made their relationship public in May 2025 with a joint appearance at a New York Knicks playoff game, followed by Cardi confirming the romance on Instagram the following month.

Despite brief breakup speculation later that summer, the couple appears to be going strong. Cardi has frequently shown support at Diggs’
games, most recently celebrating the Patriots’ AFC Championship win in January, which secured their place in the 2026 Super Bowl.
