The Recording Academy has announced another major addition to the performance lineup for the 2026 Grammy Awards, confirming that Clipse and Pharrell Williams will perform during the ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 1. The announcement marks the third performer reveal of the week and brings together one of hip hop’s most influential duos with a longtime collaborator whose impact on music spans decades.

Clipse enter the 2026 Grammys as one of the most nominated acts of the year, earning five nominations across major categories. Their album “Let God Sort Em Out” is in contention for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album, while “Chains and Whips” is nominated for Best Rap Performance. The group also received nods for Best Rap Song for “The Birds Don’t Sing” and Best Music Video for “So Be It.” The nominations place Clipse alongside some of the most recognized names in contemporary music and highlight the strong reception of their latest project.

Pharrell Williams, who produced the Clipse album, is also having a notable year at the Grammys. A thirteen time Grammy winner, Williams is nominated in three of the same categories as Clipse, reflecting his role in shaping the sound and direction of the album. In addition, he is nominated for Best Music Film for “Piece By Piece.” His involvement in the upcoming performance adds another layer of anticipation, given his long history of memorable Grammy moments both as a performer and producer.

The Clipse and Pharrell performance joins a growing list of artists already confirmed for the 2026 ceremony. Previously announced performers include Addison Rae, Alex Warren, Katseye, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, Sabrina Carpenter, Sombr, and the Marías. The Recording Academy has indicated that more performers will be announced in the coming days, suggesting that the final lineup will reflect a wide range of genres and musical styles.

In terms of nominations, Kendrick Lamar leads all artists this year with nine nods. He is followed by Lady Gaga and producers Jack Antonoff and Cirkut with seven nominations each. Leon Thomas, Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, and engineer Serban Ghenea earned six nominations, while Clipse joins Doechii, SZA, Turnstile, Tyler, the Creator, and producers Souwave and Andrew Watt with five each. The spread of nominations points to a competitive year across multiple categories.

The 2026 Grammy Awards will be hosted by Trevor Noah and broadcast live at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT. The ceremony will air on the CBS Television Network and will also be available to stream on Paramount Plus. This broadcast marks the final year of the Grammys airing on CBS, which has carried the show since 1973. Beginning next year, the ceremony will move to Disney under a ten year deal announced in 2024.

Ahead of the main broadcast, the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony will take place at the Peacock Theater at 12:30 p.m. PT and will stream live on live.Grammy.com. The 2026 Grammys are produced by Fulwell Entertainment for the Recording Academy, with Ben Winston, Raj Kapoor, Jesse Collins, and Trevor Noah serving as producers.
