Trevor Noah is set to return to the Grammy Awards stage one last time. The comedian and former Daily Show host will serve as emcee for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on February 1, marking his sixth and final stint hosting music's biggest night. The ceremony will air live from Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena on CBS, with streaming available on Paramount+.

CBS confirmed that Noah, 41, will also serve as an executive producer for the 2026 show. He has hosted the Grammys every year since first taking on the role in 2021 and continued in the position even after stepping away from The Daily Show in December 2022.

"I am beyond thrilled to welcome Trevor Noah back to host the Grammys for his sixth, and sadly, final time," executive producer Ben Winston said in a statement. "He's been the most phenomenal host of the show. He's so smart, so funny, and such a true fan of the artists and music. His impact on the show has been truly spectacular, and we can't wait to do it together one last time."

The 2026 ceremony will also mark the end of a long-running broadcast era for the Grammys. After airing on CBS since 1973, the awards show will move to ABC beginning in 2027 under a new long-term deal with Disney, which will also see the ceremony streamed on Hulu and Disney+.

This year's nominations are led by Kendrick Lamar, who earned nine nods. Lady Gaga follows closely behind with seven nominations, while Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter and Leon Thomas each received six. Several artists, including SZA, Doechii and Tyler, the Creator, picked up five nominations apiece.

Noah has previously spoken candidly about the pressure that comes with hosting a live awards show. In a 2024 interview, he said he never approaches hosting without nerves, explaining that telling jokes onstage feels unpredictable. He also noted that the Grammys present a unique challenge due to the atmosphere, describing it as trying to work while surrounded by a massive party.

Despite the pressure, Noah has said the experience has been deeply rewarding. He has described the Grammys as one of the best live music events, praising the opportunity to see a wide range of artists perform on the same stage in one night.

The 2026 Grammys will be produced by Fulwell Entertainment for The Recording Academy. For Noah, the upcoming ceremony will serve as both a finale to his hosting run and a final chapter before the show transitions to a new broadcast home.
