Chelley Bissainthe is stepping into a new chapter and she's doing it solo. The Love Island USA Season 7 standout confirmed on SiriusXM's Page Six Radio that she and fellow Islander Ace Greene have ended their relationship, marking the first time she has publicly addressed the split.

Speaking candidly during the interview, Bissainthe shared that the breakup was a mutual but heartbreaking decision. "Ace and I actually decided to part ways," she revealed, adding that the choice required honesty, patience and, ultimately, acceptance. "When you love someone, sometimes loving someone means letting go."

The pair, who became instant fan favorites thanks to their chemistry, emotional transparency, and united front throughout recouplings and Casa Amor, had been one of the season's most celebrated couples. Their bond extended beyond the villa, but Bissainthe said the pressures of real life introduced challenges they couldn't overcome.

Part of what made the choice difficult, she acknowledged, was knowing how invested their supporters were. "I've definitely thought about our fans," she said. "But I trust they'll understand that if we came to this decision together, it was necessary."

Despite intense curiosity from viewers, Bissainthe chose not to share specific reasons for the split. She emphasized that privacy was important for both of them and that the details "aren't really necessary" for the public to know.

Now based in Los Angeles, Bissainthe says her focus is shifting inward. "This next chapter is about healing, growth, and time with myself," she noted, asking for privacy as she moves forward.

Still, she expressed gratitude for Greene and the experience they shared. "Sometimes people are in your life for a moment, sometimes longer. I'm grateful, and I wish Ace the very best."
