Halle Bailey and rapper DDG have officially settled their custody dispute, reaching a court-approved agreement for their 22-month-old son, Halo Saint. The development marks a turning point for the former couple, who split in October 2024 after months of public tension and legal filings.
 
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the agreement outlines a temporary custody schedule granting DDG visitation with Halo on Wednesdays and designated weekends, while Bailey retains primary physical custody. The two also established a holiday schedule to ensure Halo spends time with both parents during special occasions.
 
In a significant show of cooperation, Bailey and DDG, whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr, have also dropped their respective restraining orders against each other. Both have been ordered not to make negative public statements about one another or discuss private matters related to their son in public or in Halo's presence.
 
The agreement follows months of back-and-forth legal filings, including a court order earlier this year restricting both parents from posting photos or information about Halo on social media. That ruling came after both sought protection orders amid allegations of abuse and emotional distress, with each claiming the other's behavior posed risks to their child.
 
In June, DDG filed an emergency motion to block Bailey from taking Halo on an international trip, a request that was ultimately denied by the court. Around the same time, Bailey had obtained a temporary restraining order requiring DDG to keep more than 100 yards away from her and their son.
 
The newly finalized arrangement represents a shift from confrontation to collaboration. Legal experts note that the inclusion of mutual non-disparagement and privacy clauses reflects growing family court emphasis on shielding children from public parental disputes  especially when both parents are in the spotlight.
 
Despite their differences, the agreement suggests Bailey and DDG are prioritizing their son's stability and emotional well-being. With structured visitation, clear communication guidelines, and an established holiday schedule, the former couple appears focused on creating a cooperative path forward for their family.
