Steve Harvey has made it clear where he stands when it comes to his daughter Lori Harvey's former flames, if she cuts ties, so does he.

The Family Feud host, 68, opened up about his approach to dealing with Lori's ex-boyfriends during a candid conversation on the latest episode of The Pivot Podcast, hosted by NFL stars Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor, and Channing Crowder.

Harvey admitted that as a father, navigating Lori's highly public dating life hasn't always been easy. "I've had to swallow a lot of things and just keep my mouth shut," he said. "But the rule in my house is simple: if you're Lori's ex, you're my ex too. Once she's done, I'm done. I don't even shake hands or acknowledge them anymore."

The comedian shared a story about running into one of Lori's exes at a sporting event. "I saw one of them at a game, and out of habit, I went to shake his hand," he recalled. "Man, Lori lit me up about that. Now I don't even look in their direction. It's like we never met."

Harvey also spoke about the challenges of raising a daughter whose personal life often plays out in the public eye. "When you have a beautiful daughter in the spotlight, she's going to attract a certain kind of guy," he said. "These men come in fast, with a lot to offer, and it can be tough watching that as a dad. But Lori's smart, and she's figuring it out."

The proud father, who has seven adult children, has been vocal about his support for Lori in the past. After her 2022 breakup with actor Michael B. Jordan, Harvey publicly sided with his daughter, saying he was "Team Lori all the way."

Lori, 28, has been making headlines for more than just her relationships. Recently, she announced she'll join the cast of Reasonable Doubt for its third season. In a recent interview, Lori expressed her excitement about pursuing acting full-time.

"I know people will have opinions, but everyone has to start somewhere," she said. "The negativity just pushes me to go harder." While Lori continues to thrive professionally, one thing remains certain: Steve Harvey won't be grabbing drinks with any of her exes anytime soon.
