Tina Knowles recently appeared on the Sibling Revelry podcast, hosted by Kate and Oliver Hudson, and opened up about how her social media enthusiasm sometimes hits a loving speed bump, courtesy of her daughter, Beyoncé. Despite her good intentions, Tina admitted she tends to share too many family moments.
“I post twenty‑five videos, and then I get a call and Beyoncé will be like, ‘Mama, can you not post so much? … You’re doing too much,’” Tina laughed. But even Beyoncé’s gentle chide doesn’t dim her excitement. Tina confessed, “I never want to be jaded about it or take it for granted—it’s still really exciting for me.”
That excitement extends from the screen onto the stage. Tina got emotional talking about watching her granddaughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi, perform alongside Beyoncé during the Cowboy Carter Tour. “I’m still crying. I’m still like, ‘I can’t believe this.’ I’m screaming louder than anybody when Blue and Rumi come out, not as much for me, but for them,” she shared.
She bubbled over with pride recounting how Blue, familiar with the spotlight, joined Beyoncé with grace, while Rumi made an adorable debut, embracing every precious moment. Tina’s joy was unbridled because seeing them step into the light fills her with awe and reminds her that family milestones are never ordinary.
Indeed, these tours have provided Tina with unforgettable “Mama T moments.” Whether cheering unabashedly from the audience or celebrating the spotlight shared with her daughter and grandkids, she’s fully present and not afraid to revel in every second.
Even though Beyoncé sometimes drags her back from over-sharing, Tina’s enthusiasm remains undiluted. She’s a proud mom and grandmother, and every post, every cheer, every tear of pride reaffirms that sentiment. Watching the next generation, Blue Ivy and Rumi, shine on stage is more than a performance, it’s the fulfilment of Tina’s lifelong devotion to family, artistry, and unapologetic love.
