Colin Kaepernick and Nessa Diab have long since outlived their honeymoon period. The TV personality clarified the impact of the former NFL quarterback's nonviolent protest in 2016 on his career while also disclosing that she and Colin, who have been dating since 2015, got married a long time ago.
In a recent Instagram video, Nessa stated, "Do some research for all the publications out there." "I'm Colin's wife, not his girlfriend, roommate, or anything else."
What was the date of the couple's wedding? Okay. They were married "years ago," the 44-year-old recently told TMZ Sports.
Three years after the couple welcomed their first child together, the Nessa On Air host has clarified whether she and Colin are still dating.
She wrote in the caption of an August 2022 Instagram photo of the couple holding their infant, "I thought long and hard about sharing our life-changing news today." "Today is the first day in a few weeks that I will be going out for work with a new life title—MOM," I said.
"Colin and I welcomed our amazing baby to the world a few weeks ago,” she continued, “and we are over the moon with our growing family."
The new mother also made an appearance on the red carpet at the 2022 MTV Awards shortly after announcing the news at the time.
"Recovering after delivery has been a journey (more on that later), and honestly I wasn't going to share anything because this is sooooo personal to us, and I realized I'm a complete mama bear," she wrote in the caption. "Colin is the most incredible father, and I am so thankful that he has been with us throughout this entire journey."
More recently, at the 2025 Met Gala, the couple made their public debut as parents.
Before the extravagant ceremony in May, Nessa told Vogue, "As a mom, it's not just making sure I look good on the outside—it's also feeling amazing on the inside." "And it's also finding a way to not let the stress show on my face and my body because for many parents out there who have a toddler, trying to figure out childcare and all these things can be a bit stressful."
She exclaimed, "Mom and Dad are walking the red carpet, and we support and celebrate each other." "Hopefully, when you visit us tonight, you will be able to witness that."
