Mack Maine is upset about his son's untimely death. Lil Wayne's business partner and rapper revealed on July 28 that his son Isaiah "Zeke" Preyan passed away unexpectedly earlier in the month following a seizure at his California home. It was said that he was twenty years old.
Mack Maine (real name Jermaine Preyan) posted a tribute to his son on Instagram, including photos of him with his son throughout his life, and wrote, "I'm still in shock and still processing the fact that he's gone." "Remaining perplexed, wondering why my child and not me are in this world."
Zeke's reunion with his grandparents was another dream of the 43-year-old, who added, "I know I am/was his father while he was here in the flesh but now he's ascended to rejoin OUR Father God in the spirit and his ancestors who also loved him dearly.”
Along with providing the update, Mack also spoke directly to his late son and expressed his appreciation for the difference he had made.
"Zeke I'm grateful that you gave me one of the best gifts I've ever gotten: fatherhood," he said. "The relationship and experience with you gave me meaning. My greatest source of motivation and inspiration was YOU.I got out of bed when everyone else was sleeping because of YOU.
"You were my SONshine, and your smile made my bad days better," Mack added. "Your heart was pure, and your soul was composed of innocence."
The rapper admitted that he was sharing the news on his own birthday, but he also said that Zeke's passing was a pain he had "never felt before." He urged his followers to treasure their loved ones in light of the current situation.
