Leanna Lenee, wife of football star Travis Hunter, recently looked back on a tough time in her life , one marked by online hate and deep personal struggle. In a TikTok video originally recorded in December, she shared just how much her life has changed since then, especially after focusing on her faith.

In the clip, Leanna appears fresh out of the shower, eyes swollen from crying. Though she doesn't speak, her caption says it all: "I wish I could go back and hug December me, because oh baby, God was about to change your heart in the most important and beautiful way."

She reflected on how much she's grown since then. "I don't even recognize this girl anymore," she wrote. "The amount you can grow and develop in just six months of devoting your life to Jesus and getting away from the shackles of the world and social media is truly astounding."

Leanna was hit with a lot of criticism during the 2024 college football season. During a Colorado game, viewers on social media criticized her facial expressions and began spreading claims that she was after fame or money, despite the fact that she and Hunter had been together since 2022.

Leanna later on shared a video addressing the speculation, hoping to correct the false stories being spread about her. Around the same time, Travis publicly supported her, pushing back against the online criticism and making it clear that her struggles affected him personally.

Even after tying the knot in May at The Barn at Faith Farms in Tennessee, the criticism continued. Some people even criticized their choice not to sign a prenup. But the couple stayed silent, choosing peace over public drama.

Now, Leanna's focusing on what matters. "I wish the peace I found within Jesus on everyone who reads this. Your identity in Him matters, not how people choose to perceive you," she shared. She's also been receiving more support, including from WNBA star Angel Reese, who commented, "So proud of you bby! The storm doesn't last forever!" Another fan commented, "I can't imagine what it's like for so many people to attack you. I am sorry you didn't deserve it."
