Angela White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, has announced that she and fiancé Derrick Milano have officially called off their engagement. The news broke on July 3, 2025, when Angela took to her Instagram Stories to deliver a heartfelt message to her fans and followers, explaining that the decision was made after serious prayer and reflection. The 37-year-old mother and television personality emphasized that the split was not due to any animosity or scandal, but rather a mutual understanding that their journeys were meant to continue separately.
“After much prayer and reflection, Derrick and I have decided to call off the engagement,” she wrote. “We love each other deeply and are good friends, but we both believe that God’s guidance has shown us that this is the right path for both of us, as we each continue our journeys. May we find peace and fulfilment in His divine will, trusting that His plan is greater than our own.”
Derrick Milano, a Grammy-winning producer and songwriter, also shared a statement on his Instagram Stories. In it, he echoed Angela’s sentiments and reiterated that there was still love and respect between them despite ending their engagement. Their decision came as a surprise to many fans who had closely followed their relationship since it first became public in 2023.
Angela and Derrick began dating in May 2023, but kept their relationship largely out of the spotlight until September of that year when they started posting affectionate tributes to each other on social media.
