NFL Sports Analyst, Steve Smith Sr. has been accused of having an affair with a married woman, following the woman’s husband posting alleged text messages and phone conversations. The accuser alleged that his wife and Smith met while working for Baltimore Ravens and alleged that the two engaged in multiple sexual encounters. “My wife works for the Marching Ravens @Ravens. She met Steve Smith Sr. at work. Steve Smith has been f***ing my wife. I got receipts, I got a lot more homie,” Martinez declared in his post.
The accuser, going as Tony Martinez on X shared the post but deleted it later. The post included explicit text messages allegedly exchanged between Smith and his wife. He also posted a video in which a man who claimed to be Smith was confronted in a phone call. In the recording, the caller asked, “What do you have to say for yourself?” The voice on the other end, believed to be Smith, responded, “Sorry,” before hanging up.
Following the confrontation and taking the matter publicly, Martinez tagged the NFL, Smith’s associates and his employer. Smith and the woman are yet to respond to the allegations. Steve Smith, who has been married to Angie since 2000 and share 4 children together has shocked the internet. Steve has previously been recognized for his philanthropic efforts, including his work with the Steve Smith Family Foundation, which supports victims of domestic violence and underserved communities.
Smith Sr. has enjoyed a successful career, during which he played for the Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens. The former Triple Crown holder was a five-time Pro Bowl selection and three-time All-Pro during his time in the league. According to Martinez, Smiths’ action is a violation of the Ravens’ fraternization policy, therefore both parties should be fired.
